Louis Vuitton to Discontinue Takashi Murakami Multicolore Monogram Collection

It's the end of an era. One of LV's most popular designs has been discontinued after over a decade of major popularity.

If you weren't aware that Louis Vuitton was still making the line, which feature LV's signature monogram motifs in bright colours set against either black or white backgrounds, you're not alone. Many fashion insiders thought it was already discontinued!

Monogram Multicolore is one of the last vestiges of predecessor Marc Jacobs' splashier aesthetic, we're sad to see it go, but also very excited for what Nicolas Ghesquiere has in store for us in the coming seasons.

Monogram multicolore bags and accessories were at the forefront of the It Bag's birth in the early 00s with celebs like Paris Hilton, Amber Rose, Demi Lovato, and Lil Kim.

We forecast a hipster revival of this pattern in 9 years. Mark our words.
